This is Red!!! Red is a gorgeous 2-3 year old male basset hound who came to OBHR from a local area shelter. 

Red is just a wonderful and sweet boy! He gets along with kids and other dogs, we have not tested him around cats, and he is just a sweetheart!

 He did test negative for heart worm and will be on Heart Guard, however he is positive for Lyme disease but is asymptomatic (no visible symptoms). He is receiving meds for Lyme disease and will need a refresher dose in a few months.

Red also has small deformity in that he does not have any toenails on his front feet. This does not slow him down at all, he walks and runs like any other dog. The only thing that might bother him is graveled areas. 

Red is currently being kenneled at the vet in Columbus, OH.
