1/6/15 Update from foster home

Prince Charlie and Princess Chloe are wonderful dogs. Charlie is confident, sweet, loving-he is a very happy boy. His tail wags constantly, when he is awake. He sleeps a lot. He has a very low energy level. He loves belly rubs and is very good at going out to go potty. Chloe is a bit more reserved-but coming out of her shell.  She enjoys short walks and also loves to snooze. She enjoys belly rubs and also is very good at going outside for potty breaks. They sleep well through the night. They have had no issues with my 4 pack of dogs (3 bassets and one doxie). Chloe is interested in the cat that runs by my fence-so a home with no cats is best. Charlie is a very slow eater-so they need to be fed separately. You can tell they were very much loved by their previous owner.  If you are looking for an adorable, older couple, please consider Charlie and Chloe. Chloe is very nose driven so she must have a fenced in yard-despite her age.  They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Folks meet Charlie!

Charlie and Chloe were housemates that were adopted out by OBHR when they were very young. Sadly their owner has passed away and now in their senior years they are looking for a new home.

Charlie likes to play with other dogs and gets along with kids, but can be defensive when eating, so considerate children only. He does like to play and take short walks, but he loves to go for car rides! He sits there like a gentleman looking out the window! 

Won't you consider opening your home to a senior? Poor little man has had his world turned upside down with the loss of his family and needs someone to love him and let him know everything is going to be ok!

Charlie is being fostered in Deerfield, MI.
