Meet 9 year old Gertie! This sweet young lady came to OBHR when her owners moved. A neighbor tried to take her but realized she needed more medical expenses than she could afford. Gertie recently was spayed, brought up to date on shots, and had a MUCH needed dental and a benign growth removed. She is doing MUCH better now and in a foster home in the Cincinnati area. Gertie is a sweet girl, gets along with the other dog and cat in the foster home and loves toys! She is a basset so she will talk to you! She so far has been alerting them when she needs to go out to potty. She is a bit of a Velcro dog at the moment but she has been moved several times in the last few weeks.
