Welcome to OBHR Henry! Henry is a 4 year old basset looking for a new home. The quick details everyone asks for: He is house trained, good with dogs and cats, no young kids, UTD and neutered. 
Henry came to OBHR after being adopted from a local shelter and he was not a good fit for the family. They tried to rehome him but he didn’t fit in there. So poor Henry has been bounced around as a stray in the shelter and two homes in a little over a month.  
Henry’s issue is he bonds quickly to one person in the house and tends to get possessive of them. This is why we are saying no kids. BUT as mentioned he has been bounced around a lot in a short time and he was also just recently neutered and that will also help him settle down. So Henry needs a home with basset experience and someone who will give him mostly the TIME to settle in. In most cases time and equal effort by all family members walking, feeding and disciplining will correct the issue. He is a real sweetheart does great in a car, loves to play, and does good on walks, just needs to learn a few house manners like sit.He will need a fenced in yard and he is being fostered in the Dayton area.
