November Harold update! 

Meet Harold! A kind soul who's face fits his name. Harold is a middle aged gentleman who's manners make him the best boy. Harold is a vocal boy... When you come home and when you leave but waits patiently quiet while you fix his meals or if you go into a room where he cannot be with you. He follows you almost everywhere you go and knows the commands "come", "stay" and "lay down". We are still working on "sit". Harold does not get on the furniture. He prefers a comfy bed on the floor. He is crate trained but does not have to be crated and is house broken. He has not gone to my door but I live in a Townhome so I take him out routinely. Harold has been though a lot and is now come into his own personality. Belly rubs are his favorite and he has been socialized to kids of all ages, cats, and other dogs. My wish is to find Harold a furever home for Christmas. I know there is a match for Harold out there. If you think you might be it, let's do this!

Harold came to OBHR a mess! He is about 8 years old and came in with a severe infection from a sore on his neck, nails growing into his skin, ears infected and with fecal matter in them and teeth so horrid one fell out when the anesthetized him  to treat his neck. He is staying with a foster until he is healthy, neutered and a dental done.

Just an update on Harold! He goes in to the vet this week for a follow up to see if he is healthy enough for his neuter and dental! We will let everyone know how it goes but until he is healthy we are not taking apps for him! 

From his foster: Harold has done a complete 180 and can go up and down a whole set of stairs unassisted to get to our backyard. This man loves head rubs, butt scratches, and rolling on the carpet. He is respectful of my chickens, cats, and dogs (both small and large). He also does well in chaotic environments with kids screaming but he is not kid tested. He wants nothing more than to lay at someone's feet all day long, bonus points if theres a blanket, dog bed, pillow, or even a sweatshirt he can lay on, hes not picky! He's even crate trained (with the occasional barking, of course).
