Yost is a very active boy for his age. We were told that he is 7, however he acts much younger than that. He looks more like a lemon beagle than a basset. Yost loves to play in the yard, and will need a fenced yard in his new home. He has very good manners with other dogs, knows how to use a dog door, and is a gentleman in his crate! He does have the basset counter surfing trick down pat, but his foster family is working on that with him! He would make the perfect addition to any family!

Hello! How are you? My name is Yost and I am a 7 year old basset/beagle mix. I am looking for a new family to love me!

I am a very easy going guy, I would love someone to take me for walks, maybe a car ride, let me sleep on the couch....do you like sports? I don't know what they are but if you're sitting there watching them on TV and eating popcorn, I will be your best friend!

I'm not sure how I got where I am....but these kind folks at this rescue said they are going to find me a new home. I got lost and ended up in a shelter and then a nice man came can got me and said I am an OBHR dog now!

Won't you please give me a home? I won't eat much and I am very friendly. If you have other dogs I am ok with that! I like other friends like me!
