Meet Max! Max is a 3 year old basset looking for a new home. He has started to have issues with the other male dog in the house which is why he is being rehomed. There is a female dog he is fine with and he is ok meeting other dogs, it is just a territory thing living with another male. Max is not yet neutered and once he is neutered that will help with territory issues. Max LOVES to play fetch and will keep bringing his toy back as long as you keep throwing it! He is house trained but may need to learn a new schedule and home like most dogs. Max will need a home with a fenced in yard. He is up to date on all shots but still needs his HW test and neuter which will be done at OBHRs expense. Max does have an underbite that causes him no issues just gives him a quirky smile! He is currently in Toledo and is being fostered by his former owner but will he handed off to an OBHR volunteer once adopted. We will complete his vetting either by having his adopter bring him to one of our vets if close to Columbus, Dayton/Englewood or Cincy/Mason or we will reimburse his adopters vet for the neuter and HW check.
