Update from Iris's foster family -  Iris is a diamond in the rough. She is great with other dogs & kids. Would need to be watched around cats. No need for crate- can be left alone in house. Good in the car. Needs work with basic commands. Super sweet & cooperative. Not food aggressive. Does not resource guard. This dog is a pleasure to have. If you like hounds do not pass on this terrific dog!!

OBHR welcomes a young female coon hound named Iris, she is very playful and sweet! She is about 4-5 years old, she was running as a stray for a long time in Ohio, a Good Samaritan helped get her to us. She’s shy of men and has been an outside dog.. but like any hound with guidance, patience and love she will blossom! Iris is currently being fostered in Michigan.
